I'd just like to know if anyone is having issue with this DPTF update or whether there is a fix. I'll be trying Dell once their operating hours start again. I have checked the Developers Zone on this issue with no luck. The 0.2996 version of Intel Dynamic Platform Thermal Framework is provided as a free download on our software library. Intel support has no option to select DPTF drivers for my device, and I'm not sure which other category I should select to talk with someone about the issue. I am running Windows 10 Home (2) on an Inspiron 13-7353 with an Intel Core i7-6500 CPU and an Intel HD Graphics 520 GPU. large games) that produce significantly more heat than my current programs produce. Ever since then my laptop has been forcefully hibernating when the driver decides that it is too hot (supposedly over 200 F / 93 C). I recently downloaded and successfully installed the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework driver (version 9.6897, A12, updated 18 March 2020) from Dell's support website.
